Curivari Gloria De Leon Prominentes with coffee this beautiful Sunday morning. My new smoking buddy Bleu grabbed my cigar and took off through the front yard with it hence the tooth marks and tear on the head. It wasn't me. In any event the Gloria De Leon is one of the Curivari line that I have been anxious to try. I contiue to be impressed by this brand of cigars. Cocoa, coffee, dark cherry and cedar with a touch of saltiness. This one stayed solidly medium. Though not overly complex this is a fine smoke indeed. I do not understand why Curivari does not get more press. They are great smokes at a great price point. I reaffirm my first impressions that there is something very reminiscent of ERDM Choix Supreme. Not the same but it will surely remind you of ERDM when you smoke it.

Nope, I won't do that again. I have smoked three and the only one I found enjoyable had aged enough for the cello to start turning yellow. Other wise there are too many other good - very good maduro smokes for the same price. This is a mediocre smoke at best without several months of humidor time.

The Honduran and Peruvian tobacco dominate the broadleaf wrapper. Without a long rest between puffs it becomes bitter and has a peculiar sweetness.
