Had the same expierence had to cut it a BUNCH to get a good draw second half was much better.

I agree that the second half was better. I was hoping it would stand up to the leaf by Oscar, but for $2 less I will take the leaf all day every day.

My old boss gave me this LGC Serie R jaw breaker almost a year ago. It looks much older than that. I think it's the No 6 which is a 5.9 by 69. Paired with some John J Bowman single barrel bourbon. I am really surprised at how tame this stick is. No spice. Just smooth aged tobacco with a cedar note that was like a roller coaster ride. It was there the whole time but at times would really jump out and when it did it brought along something with it that I could quite place but to say was some kind of cooking spice.
Had a date night with my wife this evening. Had to pick our son up at 9 so we're back home already. But I managed to include a trip to one of the local shops and picked up some cigars and smoked this one. Spent much more than I was planning, but could not resist!
