This evening I settled in with a good book and lit up a Last Tsar I got from a split with @JusBlaze to celebrate my momentous victory over my wife at putt putt. I shot a 2 over 60 to her 74. My key to victory was bringing my own putter. Yes, I'm THAT guy.
I found this cigar to be incredible. A lot of the reviews I read were very iffy on it. They found it overly peppery, and had burn issues. I think they probably smoked it too young.

I found the pepper much tamer, and the taste very complex. I was getting an interesting shift in flavors every few minutes. It was very full. Thank God I was drinking a couple super sweet Not Your Father's root beers. Maybe some of my lightheadedness came from them though.
It's a great cigar. $18 great? Maybe not. Ignoring the price though, very enjoyable. I'm going to try and let my other one age quite a bit longer and see if it improves even more.
A word to the wise... Smoke slowly and eat something first. This little bugger is a slobber knocker on an empty stomach. Don't get me wrong, I loved it and I nubbed it. But, damn, I was not expecting the nicotine buzz that accompanied it.
