My first of any of the JO stuff, anyone have any feedback/recommendations regarding his stuff?

Edit: at about the halfway point it started to taste really off with an odd/bad aftertaste and I pitched it. JO told me to either smoke them within the first 3 months or let em rest for a year+. These are from mid August so I guess I'm gonna let these sit for awhile longer and hope for the best

Don Carlos No2 tonight. I've been having some sticks with amazing construction lately.

I actually had to knock the ash off after that last pick because it was starting to impact the flavor. That's two nights in a row that's I've had cigars with crazy long ashes. And it was even a bit breezy tonight.

Awesome ash but just curious as to why you say it started to affect the flavor? Sorry, noob here

Last night was a Kristoff Ligero Criollo corona.

A decent smoke, but kind of boring. The burn and construction were fine. The flavors just really didn't do anything for me. I got more of the ligero body feel than anything.

Just to warn you its a powerhouse. I wasn't prepared for it and it almost took me out haha. Surprising since I haven't picked up much strength in their other lines. Flavors are great though. Enjoy!
