So i smoked a Tatuaje Havana VI for my Christmas cigar...or rather, I tried to. This particular stick was horribly constructed (it was the petite lancero, not sure what Pete calls it, it has a little pigtail)--the wrapper cracked all over and it was very nearly plugged. I stick with it despite the grass and char flavor and hard draw, hoping that it would open up eventually and knowing that I wouldn't get another change to smoke today (plus it's not cheap). Sadly, it didn't open up until the very last inch--I literally had to relight a dozen times or more.
That last inch had the same awesome flavors as the first Tat red that I smoked, and so it made the ordeal almost worth it, and at least I got a nice finish out of it. So yea, very disappointing...anyone else had troubles with these? It's at least 2 months old and has been well maintained at 65-68% rH.
