Really loose draw (Padron like draw). Not a huge amount of flavor but lots of eye watering pepper.

Tats seem to get a ton of love on here-- if I was inclined to try the brand for the first time, is this a good sampler?

I really like the Cojonu, Fausto, and Verocu. Never tried the Monster line.
I also would recommend trying one of the "main" (non special release) lines if you want to see if you like the brand.
If you like pepper and strength, my guess is you'll like Tatuaje.
I've noticed they have a short finish...
Coincidentally, my wife (who knows nothing about cigars) told me tonight that she "likes Tatuaje" because I "don't smell as bad" after I smoke one. (whatever that means)

Never tried an El Gueunguense, but coincidentally tried a Jameson Black Barrel for the first time today and thought it was great!

The Jameson is crazy smooth!! Almost shockingly smooth compared to Original Jameson. And soooo affordable.

The El Güegüense I need another one to make my mind up. It was good, smoked it to the nub, but not sure if it rocked my socks.

I had been sitting on this stick for quite a while and opened my box this morning and grabbed it. What a smoke. Now I wish I hadn't waited so long because now I'm not going to find any, but it will be remembered like that girl you met on spring break who you had the night of your life with and when you walked away in the morning thinking about the nights events you realize you never got her number or last name. You will always be in my heart Tat TAA 2014! <3
