Ramon Bueso - Olancho Reserva Torpedo
In a first for me, I prefer the larger size. The wrapper still adds a nice sweet hay flavor, but it is more subdued in the mix. The profile is carried by a oily and almost chewy leather. Chocolate, coffee, and earth all come through at different points. The cigar is at its best when the parts come through giving you a dark leather, coffee, spice profile backed by a sweet nutty taste. In the last third everything came together and shined beautifully. Leather, coffee, red pepper, sweet bread that had a nutty component and a hint of cedar and chocolate.
If you can get these for $45-$50 go for it. Just let them sit for about a month.
