No better time than the present.
I've been hitting the gym consistently for the last seven weeks and eating clean for the last two. So, I decided to celebrate. Too bad I didn't think to get pictures.
Black Label Trading Company - Redemption (5x54 Box Pressed)
I received this from a friend at work. He picked it up while on vacation with his family. So, I have no idea where it came from or how long it had been in the store. I gave it a few weeks and it was pretty darn good. It probably needed another month in the humidor though. It still impressed me. Cocoa, cedar, oak, coffee, cream, pecan, caramel, sweetness, floral notes, citrus, earth, red pepper, and leather all come out as the cigar progresses. I would buy a box of these if I had $180 to drop.
Black Label Trading Company - Royalty (5.5x42)
I smoked this last night. It was every bit as good as I remember. Coffee, cream, chocolate, bread, cinnamon, floral, spice, and nuttiness are what I remember most. This is brighter than a lot of sticks I usually smoke and reminds me that I need more in this vein. The Ecuadorian Corojo is very evident and leaves its signature throughout the entire smoke. I was really enjoying this stick. I might have to drop $33 on a five pack. I've been getting ten packs from CI and Cbid for that lately, but I may have to muzzle my inner Scrooge.
