Not even letting it rest - I've been wanting to try these!View attachment 86156
I'm sitting on a few of these and can't wait much longer. What were your thoughts on it?This one isn't going to last very long either...
Nick will have a better idea as he's smoked more than one. I thought it was comparable to the La Imperiosa Dukes with a little more pepper/spice. That's smoking it after being in a box in the heat for three days. Probably will be a little different once they sit in the humi for a while.I'm sitting on a few of these and can't wait much longer. Rest won't hurt, especially if it's the robusto/rebeldes. The Olas was smoother, earlier. The pre-release kept getting better since January. But, if they're acclimated, go for it. Zesty right off the bat before mellowing into a smooth leathery, toasty flavor. There's a pleasant chalky(?), malt component. Cedar notes & spices become more prominent in last half with strength & body both building throughout to med-full. Nice & complex once it heats up. Great smoke!I'm sitting on a few of these and can't wait much longer. What were your thoughts on it?
Thank you! Glad you enjoy itCherry bomb from our own @BrewinHooligan - awesome stick brother
