I'll try again in a couple months, but that was some kind of acrid, pungent smoke. Kind of hurt my tongue a little bit. An interesting "maduro", to be sure.

Big TV, Xbox, Twinkies, and cigars. Looks like you've got all the important bases covered, lol.
On a side note, I have never smoked either of those cigars. I have no idea why - I know the Oliva serie V is highly regarded and the CAO Brazilia (and the LX2) are also on my must try list. Just an odd oversight on my part, I guess...

All the Vs are great. I think I prefer the Melanio but you can't go wrong with the reg, or Maduro. Just have to pay a bit more for the non regs. Brazillia and lx2 are very good sticks. Probably the only ones I would buy by the box from cao. Do yourself a favor and get a few of each!

LOVE the VSGs! One of my "go to" cigars.

I def want to try the various versions of the Vs (esp looking forward to the maduro) and the Brazilla and lx2. Sadly, that might not happen for a while as I've been spending more that I prob should lately, and should prob cool it. But they are def on my wishlist!

This one was a dud, unlike the others I've had. Paired with a dark-and-stormy and it did not work well. Burn issues galore. Big storm came up half way through so I had to bail on it with 2 inches left. Bummer.

Sorry about that, I did run into a few from these boxes that weren't good...

No worries man, I'll give it another go when the time is right. Sometimes a cigar I didn't like before turns out to be mind-blowing later on. I like the HR stuff from them, so I'm sure these can't be all bad. Plus you have great taste.
