Yeah I originally set out making sure I had two of each so I could do it once at the end of 2017 and then once at the end of next year to note any differences with age, but some. Of them just looked too good so that second set went up in smoke. Either way, yeah I want to do it again nexy year with the 2017 list that comes out in a couple weeks.

What scale is that? I need one. My current one is a 1000g max PITA.

It's made by Hario. This is an earlier model, before the got smart and started using water proof/heat proof stuff. 2000 gram max. Built in timer. So nice. I'm not sure the name of it, but I'm sure if you Google Hario scale timer it'll pop right up.

Yeah definatly. It'll be fun maybe we can get others to join too. Like the whole month December next year everyone can smoke the same cigar on the same night and we'll have a 2017 smoke down of all 25 or something.

So this Henry Clay Stalk Cut Toro (#22 on Cigar Afficianados Top 25 of 2016) puzzles me a bit as to why it was selected ahead of the far superior #23-#25 cigars, or why it even made the list all together. It's not a bad cigar really. It is a rather unique blend and the uncut foot is kind of cool. It smokes pretty well and is definatly a good, solid, thick smoking cigar so I suppose I'm OK with it being placed on the list based on those factors, but not at #22 maybe #25 or something. Really though, some of the great NC and CC cigars that didn't make their list belong on here way more then this does, but that's just my opinion. Not sure what the rest of you think.

Had an eventful night. Always a great day when you get an Undercrown.

I am workring through the Liga line. Moved to the Velvet Rat today.

I have wanted to try the Crowned Heads Jericho Hill for a long time. Finally got to cross it off the list. Though it's making it onto my regular rotation list.
