This stick was phenomenal. Great construction and burn throughout, with some really great flavors. Gonna have to grab some more of these guys. I think this is my favorite of the 3 Curivaris (Gran Rey, Cafe, and this one the Reserva Classica) I’ve had so far. Any suggestions on the next one to try out?

w/thanks to Davey @Genuine, where'd you go brother?
Dave is taking an extended hiatus from smoking cigars and the forums. That being said, everytime I see a pic of that cigar, I think of ol' Davey-Poo. He freaking loved those things!

Is that a strop I see hanging there? I assume you have a straight razor?

Well it was an exciting day, and not talking about Cigars.:cigar: Did manage to have an El Galan - Dona Nieves, Box Pressed stick that I will not give a lot of praise to. Straight cut the Cigar, it drew fine. But after I toasted the foot, it started a Torpedo Run[/bi] that refused to stop. Plus it kept going out for no reason.

Honestly the flavor profile was creamy, spicy, and interesting. Built the construction was so so, at best. Did what I call a "autopsy", and found the cause of the torpedo run, stems, and twigs like material that effected the burn. IMHO. :(

Think the one photo I managed before taking a bad fall on some uneven concert shows the Torpedo Run real well. Got to spend some time at the VA getting patched up, luckily nothinjg appears to be broken, just a lot of pain, just some wonderful nasty cuts. :ROFLMAO:

I have smoked a bunch of the El Galan - Dona Nieves's, they are very very very inconsistant IMHO.:) Other better price point stick available. (y)

Wed night, at a buddy's place.. (I'm slowly getting him into cigars- he's smoking the same) Cromag mode5, paired with Clyde Mayes Alabama Bourbon.. IMG_20180404_223727276.jpg

And right now..
Southern Draw Kudzu Axil (lancero)
So far, its a great med-full bodied stick. Bold red pepper and cedar notes fade quickly and smooth out to reveal an almost carmely sweetness going into the 2/3.. perfect burn & draw.. and oddly, it almost seems to be stepping down in strength as it burns.
