I would certainly agree that it does probably have to do with how oily it is, and the temperature and rh its stored at some too.Only about 2 years or so, I think some cellos just yellow a lot and others not as much because I have smokes much older then this and not as nearly as yellow. I think a lot of it has to do with if it’s a very oily wrapper or not.

I also have smokes just as old or older that also weren't as yellow as others, and they were different marcas, so you are likely correct on both explanations.
Still extremely yellow for only 2 years though. Definitely haven't seen that in person before
