So this happened. Decided to treat myself to something new. I've heard a lot about Japanese whisky but this is my first foray. It's definitely different than anything I've ever had. And it's really, really good. Paired with a favorite, as T52. #whiskeyadventures

Didn't get pictures, but tried the Tatuaje Havana. It is darn close to the Cuban flavor, only missing a bit of spice and that distinct saltiness.

Also had a Montecristo Classic Churchill. Typically perfect construction and burn. Not loads of flavor, but some good notes and that overall woody flavor. One of my favorites.
