The La Gran Llave from AJF is a beautifully constructed soft box press maduro. It looks delicious with it’s dark chocolate wrapper and almost invisible seams. The cold draw was a slightly tight and tasted of a little espresso and maybe some earthiness. Because I hate fighting a tight draw I used a draw tool before lighting up. It was a medium strength cigar with med/full flavor and smooth all the way through with no harshness. Excellent full thick smoke production. This was a double corona (7.5 x 55) and the experience for me was a good two hours. The draw and burn were excellent all the way and required no touch ups. Throughout the smoke I got a little black pepper, dark coffee, and tobacco. All in all a very smooth enjoyable cigar.
