It feels better now. Just ugly. Took a load bearing out of an old house. You’ve gotta put an “lvl” beam in the ceiling to span that gap
beam was 20” wide 3” thick roughly 28 ft long

so long story short very heavy beam with 3 of us trying to lift up into roof I was on the end and my thumb got mashed between wall and beam. Fellas walked forward while I was climbing ladder. We didn’t have a proper plan in place. So yeah…
