Just Another Ashhole
Such an insidious thing to go through and prayers are sent out to you and your family for strength. I've seen friends go through this and while the diagnosis is nothing short of devastating the resolve of those who are afflicted by it gives them a sense of looking at life in such a different way. The expression of love and affection for each other during this time makes it special for you....you take advantage of each and every day to say the simple things we too often forget to say to each other...thinking that we're invulnerable to how precious life really is. This is a message to the rest of us who are fortunate enough not to have to wrestle with something so hard as this....life seldom leaves us unscathed so redeem the time that we all have to do the little things that make such a difference.

I went off the grid for a while, but I wanted to thank all of you for the prayers and well-wishes. Mom is back home now. She is feeling a little better and refusing to wallow in misery and gloom. Her spirits are good and her pain levels are down. That is some of the best news we can hope for right now.

Praying for you and your family in this difficult time Matt. Good to hear your Mom is fighting and not in too much pain. God is the ultimate comforter in these situations.

It looks like we are coming to the final days. Mom is fading, and the nurses are telling us it won't be long. Thank you for all of the prayers and well wishes.
I have a couple BOTL commitments that will have to be delayed, thanks for understanding.
