Uneven cigar burn question

Any shop will be glad to give you a couple of spills if that's all you need. Buy a cigar and ask for a couple, they are used for lighting cigars. Or pickup an empty box for a dollar or two and break it apart.

Or, if you need empty boxes, I got some of those. Shoot me your address.

Honestly there is some great advice on here and I really can't add anything to it. The only thing I'd say is a lot of people overthink it and don't enjoy it. I find that most of the time I either just touch it up or it will fix itself.

Agree with above. Also, there are 2 types of cigar box. Cardboard usually has at most a thin sheet of Spanish Cedar veneer between the layers of cigars. Wood boxes often have Spanish cedar inserts friction fit inside the walls of the box. Those inserts pull out and are the wood you want. I have also purchased 1/4" thick planks of Spanish cedar from Amazon for cigar related projects.
