That's right I would rather use UPS or FedEx in a heart beat at least when they don't deliver to the correct address you can track and find out exactly where they delivered. What's the point of Priority w/DC? I don't get what they DC is for if they don't tell you where it delivered. Stupid system always has been IMHO. Needless to say my box of Dracs and Boris are now gone and of course my vendor has NONE left, I mean who would with the hype. So now I just get my damn money back which I didn't want because I purchased some cigars DAMNIT!!!

If it has a dc#, take the dc to the PO and they will be able to track it if the site isn't telling you anything. It happened to me before and the PO was able to find out where it was. Hope it works out!

I've had that happen twice to me, and both times the person who got it put it back to the post office and it delivered within a week. I hope luck runs the same for you on these.

No it was tracked and delivered they just don't know who it was delivered to just not me, stupid fuggers!
That's BS. My mail always shows up between 3:30 and 4:00. Automatic. The Postal person should be able to narrow down the package based on the time it was dropped off. I would raise holy hell with them and tell them it was a family members ashes or something. Make them feel like they really f'd up.

I know it sounds harsh, but why should we (the public) always be the victim of governmental stupidity?

Damn Scott!

My last experience with a missing package was found at the PO in some corner that took them 10 mins to locate.

Bastages!

I'm currently waiting on some sticks to get delivered and it's not looking good.

that just sucks. only a govt entity can just f it up and then say too bad.

Isn't that true? What other place could get away with that kind of crap?

If I walk into a shop and buy new tires, and the guy gives me my car back with the same tires, just rotated and then says "Sorry," does he get away with that? NO! I call the POLICE! But USPS doesn't even apologize (by policy), and expects a government bailout for their incompetence ... insanity.

I'm REALLY REALLY sorry this happened to you, bro! Hopefully it will still turn up! If not, maybe the shop can call Pete for you ... can't hurt at this point!

USPS Delivery Confirmation is not tracking. It only confirms that the package has been delivered - somewhere. Don't expect 100% trouble-free service with UPS or FedEx though. I've had my share of lost and damaged packages with them as well. Actually, I've had fewer problems with USPS over the past 20 years than either of the other services.

Check with the neighbors and your USPS delivery person as soon as possible.

One thing I've read more about during the past year or so is the increase in stolen packages. Recently, one person in my neighborhood actually got a video of someone taking a package right off his porch about 2 mins after UPS had delivered. The police suspect a group that was actually following UPS/FedEx trucks around during the day and then stealing the packages.

Perhaps you should consider setting up all deliveries so that someone has to sign for them in person rather than just leaving on your porch.

Hey there could be so many things that can happen. The carrier could of delivered it to the wrong house, someone could of stole it off your porch. if your really concerned best thing is to have it sent signature confirmed, or get a PO box. a piece of advice, get to know your carrier that way they put a face with the number and you should have a lot less troubles. Nonetheless that does really suck

Hopefully they will find their way back to you... I've sent many packages though the USPS with DC and have had a few things not show up even though the DC said it did. All of the missing packages eventually found their way to the rightful owners... so don't give up hope!

If you haven't already, go to your local post office, and also talk to your mailman and see if they can remember the package or help you track it down. But also file an official claim by calling their main number.

I was wondering why I got all these free smokes in the mail. I thought you were just bombing me. I guess the right thing to do here is return them huh. Seriously though I'm sorry for your loss. I know it can be frustrating.
