Dude that sucks and you have every right to be pissed. I'd make a postal claim against your local Post Office. You may have a chance at atleast getting your money back as long as you have all your documentations. Thats alot of money to just take on the chin, So I would have to go after the local carrier. I really hope things work out for you brother!!

As much as that sucks and I feel for you I can't help but think of those poor LE's drying out, gasping for moisture in some clueless guys closet somewhere while he tries to figure out what to do with them. A couple years from now he'll come across them again while looking for earmuffs, throw the cigars in the trash but keep the cool boxes to store his dingy, tarnished pennies in.

LMAO! That's pretty funny actually! I know my delivery carrier pretty well and went and saw him at the PO yesterday. Make a long story short he don't know nothin' he said he was sorry and hopefully these might just be heading back to where they started from and then re-send to me *knock on wood* But who knows???

That blows. Maybe this might make you feel better and or give you hope.

Now this is a totally different situation BUT while I was in Turkey I had ordered some Opus from OVTC and they were taking forever to get to me. It turns out that package got sent to a different military base in Turkey and it took them a little while to realize it didn't belong there and then sent it where it belonged. That happened to me on two separate occassions.

Then another time, again USPS, I had a diamond ring shipped to me via USPS registered priority. It took them almost a MONTH to get to me. When told a week I said sure, but 25 days! I almost didn't get it in time to propose to the wife in Rome for christmas that year. I had to call my commander because the registered mail dude would not open the registered mail safe after 1500 local. The gave me the damn slip when they got it but would not give me the package. Stupid post office! Long story short they opened the safe I got the ring, I got engaged in Rome, and now I'm married with a wife that complains about my cigar smoking!:hammersma

Well to be a little more fair on her part. She just doesn't like the smell but will tolerate it, and doesn't really complain too much. Complaining at all is too much to me though hahaha.

That sucks man, sorry to hear that. Hopefully like Mitch said, the person it was delivered to will bring it back to the post office. Give it a little time.
Good luck.
