LOL! don't I know it...I used to live there years ago and remember taking trips to Mesquite, NV all the time for real beer. I've been checking on brew your own sites for the last few months and plan on trying my hand at my own brew...but that remains to be seen.

Utah is changing my friends. The state liquor laws have undergone some big changes in the past year. Yes, the grocery stores/gas stations still only sale 3.2% beer, but you can buy stronger beer at the liquor store.

Things that are changing, mixed drinks at restaurants and bars now contain more alcohol. They are passing a law right now that does away with the "private clubs", which means anyone can walk into a bar and buy alcohol without having to buy a membership to the bar (it was a really stupid law). Bars and restaurants will now be able to serve up normal draft beers (beers with higher alcohol content...wahoo!!!).

Yes, the state is changing, thank god!
