Have you tried putting the serial number together with the micro printing on the seal and running it through habanos website. Im guessing they are real just not cream of the crop visually. Which is weird since they are LEs

Newbie I do not know how to do that, I’ll google a bit.

Agree on the limited edition, they should look superior.

I’m not sure what the concern here is. Those cigars look as rough and toothy as every other EL I’ve seen. I did like the guy who’s biggest concern was the Habanos sticker being folded over.

I didn’t say that was my biggest concern
I just noted it. I am a noob for sure when it comes to CC. I have seen a ton of box pics and never saw one in such rough shape that was not old.

Your cigars look a bit rough, but nothing looks wrong.
They are a bit rugged, the box looks like hell, but not fake.
measure the length and ring ga. of several,and see if the are in the proper range for this cigat.

This is the micro printing. They tried to scratch it out, but it looks like it says 000040181064. Entered into the Habanos verification site comes back as

I would not expect a faker to go to the trouble of scraping the serial ##s off a seal.

Only a real vendor would do that.

and in this case,poorly.

The cigars in question might have been ugly,but the bands looked genuine and the box, etc.

Take a black light to the tax stamp. The cuban seal will light up green along with circles at the top and bottom of the tax stamp. They look legit to me.
