Every Viaje I have smoked, 10+ have had burn issues. No other cigar manufactorer gives me issues with burning. Maybe they need to be kept in the lower 60s vs 65 where I keep my sticks.
I pretty much keep my humis all at 68, and I am not seeing any major burn issues. Sure, I get the occasional touchup needed, but overall Viaje has had a good burn for me. Certainly none that would make me hold off future purchases. I've probably smoked 125+ in the past year, too. I wonder why you guys are having such bad luck with them?? I can't comment on most of the new releases, though, other than the VPR & VOR...haven't bought any C4/TNT/Summerfest.

I smoked a TNT from a year ago last night, and the burn was impeccable. Not a single touchup needed and a perfectly straight burn line the entire smoke.

I smoked my first white label last night while it was lacking in flavor it was still a good smoke. I think with age it will be much better. I did have burn issues. Once I got half way through it evened out for me.

A couple of my buddies said they didn't like it, but like you I thought it was a good smoke.
Maybe they smoked them too early. I had one right after they came out and it was overly earthy and very muted. I had another one last week and even after this short rest theyre fantastic. The earthyness had toned down a lot and the flavors have come out, especially that big floral that seems to be in a lot of the Viajes, thats my favorite. Even still it was a bit tight on the draw so they could definitly sit for longer. I need to get more.
