I'm pretty sure any Arturo Fuente is good RTT, but better after a year - most exemplified by Anejos.

I would also submit that most Tats are good RTT, but do very well after some sitdown time - Cojonus for example.

I will also state for a fact that CCs are ok young, but better after letting them sit for several years - they turn marvelous.

But we don't crucify these brands. Now think about how much you pay for these cigars.

Now look at how some of you are complaining about Viaje's smoking qualities RTT, and the S&B #2 as of now (after several months). Are we surprised that these smoke better? What is the discussion? Are we just trying to point fingers again without logic? Please advise. Just IMO.
Very well said! :applause:

Are we surprised that these smoke better?

No - if anything their improvement was easily predicted. I'm not bashing Viaje (although I do think they do a number of cheeseball things), but it could be that people think that compared to Fuente, Tat, CCs, etc. they smoke noticeably worse ROTT, even though they age quite gracefully. That could be a turn off for some who enjoy smoking what they can grab... sure it will get better, but it doesn't help them now the way a Fuente would.

Just a guess... I'm very happy with the S&B line, and while I didn't enjoy the latest Holiday blend much, I've been generally happy with his cigars.
