Viaje WLP Candela

Wasn't that impressed with the WLP to warrant searching for the candela IMHO. I got a couple more of the WLP's and hope they come together better. $7 for a short,...............no thank you. I'll save my money and will wait for the Tower 45th to come out.
Haven't tried it yet (Illusione 88 candela) but I plan on giving it a try someday.

I think the original price for the shorts was $7, but these are priced around $6. I found the candela to be a nice departure form the usual strength Viaje offers. Very smooth and flavorful. I will be smoking a few on the 17th. If you can find one, give it a go. Cheers
How are the shorts. It has to be da** good for me to shell out $6 for a short.

I havent had the short yet. My friend says they are exquisite. Im looking forward to trying it. I quite enjoyed the first WLP, but then I'm a fan of Summerfest.
I got a hookup on the shorts if I want them, i just haven't decided to pull the trigger yet. I wanted to hear more about them before I bought them. See I didnt care for the summerfest much, and thought the WLP was an improvement on the summerfest blend after smoking them both. I think the WLP's need more time because they seemed a little off at this point in their life (but had good flavors).
I only smoked the torp, haven't had the SF robusto.

Cigar & Tabac got their Candelas and Shorts in yesterday. I tried the Candela and found it to be minty floral with not a lot of complexity. It was interesting, but at $9.40 for a robusto, it's probably one I wouldn't buy again. That being said, I'm glad I gave it a try.

Nope, had them here at Cigar Pointe along with the Exclusivo Shorts. Blew through then in a few hours. BTW awesome smoke!

Had one today.
Comming off a bad head-cold, but still tasted pretty woody. It was my 1st candela and was better than I had expected it to be.

I thought the WLP candela was inferior to the Illusione candelas in every way. It was not a good experience for me.
