Yep. Mine arrives on Monday. Did you see they raised the prices. We done good.Today I got a package from the source!
2 cabs of Noellas...fresh off the rollers thighs! The box date is Feb 07! You just got to love Pepin's flair for creating something so horrible close to Cubans!
Tatuaje is the brown label made in Miami by Pepin and Pete Johnson. Awesome cigar. Let me know if you have the brown label.tatujes are this good?? i have been gifted several but have not had one yet.
are you guys talking brown or red labels?
Yes. Excellent sticks. Not the twang but good in other ways. I have been smoking them since they came out and they keep getting better with age. I have a box of the Tainos and one of the Noellas arriving on Monday. The Tainos are stll available at Niceashcigars for $222. Not bad for a box of churchills.i have 3 browns and a red. (sounds like a poker game!! LOL)
these are supposed to be close to cubanesque??
I think they may have raised peices on all their lines. Everything I've looked at lately including Cabs seems to be a tad higher. Can anyone confirm this? :bickeringYep. Mine arrives on Monday. Did you see they raised the prices. We done good.
Well shoot, thier prices did go up but it looks like the prices are still realy good.Yep. Mine arrives on Monday. Did you see they raised the prices. We done good.
IIRC that's the Gran Conoju. I remember the first ones that I had were unfinished.Chuck, which one of the Tatuaje has the unfinished foot? I smoked one and it was good and strong. Not sure I could handle the torpedo.
I know I sent someone a Jibaro from a fiver I bought. If the cigar has a really shaggy foot about a 1/4" long, it's the Nuevitas Jibaro which is now discontinued. The length of the cigar is about 5.125"
If the cigar has a relatively flat foot with some extra wrapper leaf in an unfinished/untrimmed shag foot, and a length of 6.5", then it was the Gran Cojonu.
IMHO, the Jibaro is stupid-strong, while the Gran Cojonu is strong but not overly so.

You sent me 2 (smoked 1 already), and as Duane so eloquently said, they're stupid strong. LOL...I've been looking for them and no wonder I can't find any. I wish someone would compile a thread of all the pepin/Tat products.I know I sent someone a Jibaro from a fiver I bought.
