Howdy all!

So I've been bored over my Spring Break and came up with this... *drum roll ensues* The Cigar Caddy! My thought is to have it printed on a plastic ID card that would fit nicely in your wallet in color and sell at numerous places. Let me know what you all think. Would you buy it? What do you want changed, what do you like, not like, etc., please give me feedback! I have wanted something like this but haven't been able to find anything as it would just be nifty.

Thanks! :)

P.S.: And if I'm in the wrong place for this, or out of place, please let me know.

You should go on Shark Tank with this one!!! LOL. I do see some flavors that I've never seen posted anywhere before, which isn't necessarily a bad thing at all. We all have very different palates when it comes to cigars (and pipes as well). I have a cigar journal that I carry with me when I go to the B&M which had something similar with at least 2 pages of possible flavors we might experience.

I'd be interested in buying one of course for the right price and a little bit of tweaking maybe.....

Great idea, but You might have an issue with the name, since there is already a copyrighted portable cigar storage system by the same name. I love the idea though and hope you can make tons of money from it, well done sir. I also like yiur idea of having in placed on plastic to carry in your wallet.

Good point brought up as well. Totally forgot I had a 5-er "cigar caddy" travel case.

I'm trying to come up wits ideas for a new name. Pocket Cigar Atlas, Pocket Cigar Guide, Cigar Pal. Not sure any of those catch your eye. Remember, every idea has a chance to be the million dollar one. Some guy created the umbrellas we put in our drinks or the clear plastic piece on the end of a shoe string, good luck brother,

Wouldn't you like to know, IL
I'd prefer types of wrappers, country of origins, tobacco strains (criollo, Corojo, Habano, etc) and other info in that line of thinking VS flavors one might find. I think it would be much more benificial info to go along with sizing. It would help a newcomer express what he likes and might want when asking a tobacconist to help chooe a cigar at the shop.

This is a great idea! I love awesome ideas that sprout from boredom! I'd buy one, also if you make another one like Dave (@3/5King) said, with wrappers, country of origin, etc.
Great start!

Cool idea, but I don't think my old eyes could read the flavor chart on a wallet size card. Along one edge you might incorporate a small ruler for those that don't want to guess at cigar length.

Personally I doubt I would buy one, although it is a cool idea. I am just not very anal when it comes to cigars. If it looks appealing, I just smoke it.

Wow, okay, this is awesome! Thanks guys for the feedback!

I will say that I quite like the name Stogie Pal, and a quick search doesn't seem to have anything pop-up, but I'll look more in depth to the naming. What I'm going to do with your feedback is make it something even better, something that you would buy because it would be convenient/cheap/useful. I'm going to make a second rendering with the Countries of Origin, Tobacco Strains, Wrapper/Binder/Filler types and then post it to get more feedback. I'll add a smaller ruler on the front bottom edge to account for 1/2" as well.

Thank you all for your feedback, and I'll definitely keep you all updated!

Okeydokey, so some quick work this morning and here are the updates. It's tough to lay all of this stuff out in such a small space, so let me know what you think of this layout and the information in it! I have to assume about 1/10" margin for printer error, so that's why I don't go all the way to the edge.

Thanks again!

What if....instead of a 'card', you printed the info on both sides of a durable, plastic 'case' for a folding, stainless-steel cigar-stand? Slips into the wallet and if you don't hook them with the card, maybe they'll buy the stand and you hit both markets with one combination product?

I was thinking of the same. Adding the card into an existing item like the stand or advertisement for another are in the cigar industry. Maybe one of the brothers with some marketing experience or one of the manufacturers could offer some help in that area. Go with it brother.
