Okay, I was a tad bit confused at first, but now I get it! You're talking about the quarter inch marks as well. I can play around with the design and see if I can fit it in, but no guarantees. I'd love to because I now see the issue there, but I'm afraid it would look too busy. I'll probably post a rendering in a few days with the quarter inch marks. I'm also going to start working on rendering the card on a stainless steel cigar holder as stated earlier.

Just as a warning before people start claiming the imperfectos, they're just that: imperfect. Either it is my printer's error or it isn't lined up properly on the sheet. Don't think they're smudged or anything, but they have a letter missing on one side or an other. And they're not final either, so think of it being a limited edition original proof set print or some other fancy name. I'll post an example tomorrow. Then we'll see where this goes :)

Oh I don't think it needs to be huge either. The way he has it set up is perfect. I'm just a P.I.T.A. and would think a makeshift ruler would be a little easier to read. If he shrunk it down I'd say that would be icing on the cake and call it complete!
Not a PITA at all! I'm going to definitely work on rendering those. They may end up being final. But it might just change to say 1... 2... 3 instead of the 1/2 inches too. I'll work on it tomorrow and post it up.

It's hard for me to explain over a forum or text lol. I'm always trying to explain visually. But I think you get where I'm trying to explain it.

I get exactly what you're saying after I re-read it a couple of times! I actually agree with that idea as some of mine are x and 1/4 or 3/4 inches. It's definitely a more useful thing to have on there!

Sorry!!! I even sat back and re-read about 100x before posting to make it that you could better understand what I mentioned.

That's perfectly fine with me, then when everything is final I'll probably buy at least half a dozen as well.

IMHO, keeping it more simple by having only two sides is what will sell it. You cannot expect to put every detail on the card. If Yiu do, then it gets too busy looking and people won't be interests in it. I think try it as it is, make important tweaks and then market it.

You may even consider patenting it and then going to cigar manufacturers who may add it into their product as a means of showing brand support.

Yes, I'm going to go for the whole 10 yard. Copyright, trademark, and patent this stuff. Once I get interest at the retail level, it will be a different game. But I'll be making a website shortly to sell the 40 pre-runs to see if they'll actually sell.

And it's a heck of a lot more useful than an Otterbox, let me tell you that!

The beginnings of the website are up... I'll let you all know when it is order time.

I want to keep you all in the loop because you all got my idea gears turning and I figured out that I could be on to something relatively big with this.

A little bit of Photoshopping goes a long way :)

One thing if I may? Cigar wrapper color does not translate into strength. That would mislead many a new smoker....

Other than that, dude this thing is great. Really great idea, and you act fast. I like your style!

I personally think that those descriptions are perfect. Show me a conneticut that isn't mild? I mean it works for 98% of what's out there.
