Alright I thought more about it and decided that I would like to be in the competition.

I just stepped on the scale and I weigh 217lbs. Thats about 15 more than I did last year. I want to loose about 22lbs.

So I'm officially in.

Alrighty I think I'm gonna have to do this also? I just weighed myself and it ain't pretty but I'm 8 pounds lighter than last year. I'm tipping the scale at a very large 324lbs. YIKES! I wear it well though, LMAO! All over the place... So if you guys will have me I'm all about it?

I would like to get in on this contest. Sounds like fun and should be great motivation. I'm weighing in at 224 right now. Would like to get down to 200. Even if I don't have the highest percentage lost then I I'm a still a winner if I reach my goal.

alright! i just tipped the scales at 190. i would like to get back to 170,,, so i'll go for it!! guess you were right Chuck!! i'll have to sponsor myself now....

Right on, this is shapeing up nicley ( no pun intended Tyler). We have 11 particapants so far, That means the winner is looking at 50 smokes. Not a bad prize for looking good and getting healthy. Even if you don't win, loosing the extra weight will improve your quality of life tremedously. I have lost 60lbs before and the difference was seen in many facets of my life. Don't get discouraged if you fall behind the leader, this is supposed to be a motivational tool as well as hold us accountable for what we stuff our faces with. I have already lost several pouunds this week, but the 1st week is always an easy one for me, it's just keeping the exercise and diet going for more than 7 days. Good luck to all.

I weigh 247 lbs...32 BMI (I'm 6' 2")

Is all I gotta say is you guys are in trouble. A little over a year ago I started on a diet and exercise routine where I lost a lot of weight fast. The reason I gained it all back and more is because I took the better part of a month off for work travel and a long vacation and I never got back in the routine of things. Over the past year and a half, it's all came back!

Jeeper will be my witness, he seen my tubby ass right after Christmas and will be able to vouch for me in April when I win! :applause:

Allright, I'm down 2 lbs, so that puts me at 235!! That was very encouraging to see this morning, considering, I didn't go "all-out" last week...

You are in tuffy, we are posting week onw weightins today, so if you lost any in the last two days, let us know otherwise I'll mark you the same for the week.

I'm down 4lbs to 264.8 so i'll round up. Nice work Havana Joe, going all out will really encourage you when see 5lbs drop off in a weeks time. The guys on THE BIGGEST LOSER eat right/light and exersise several hours a day, and lose double digits each week. While most of us don't have the scedule to exersize that much, daily is the key. Also DRINK LOTS OF WATER, it will help speed your metabolism.
