Our 4th of July was a little tame, because we felt we had stimulated the children enough the weekend before. That said, Annie and the girls wanted brats, and I wanted a burger.





Nothing fancy, but good stuff nonetheless.

Finally smoked some ribs, after weeks of craving them. Pork rub and peach preserves on top, smoked for 3 hours, then wrapped with honey and brown sugar for about an hour or a little more, then finished for half an hour with apple jelly on top.

I'm curious how easy the Little Griddle cleans up.
I have a stainless steel pan I make salsa with and I can't get the charred remains off it.

I'm thinking if you clean it with cheap bourbon when it's hot the char should lift off.

I poured a little water on while it was still warm, and scraped with a spatula. Helped a little bit. I’ll be scraping it with a scouring pad I’m sure. It’s high-grade stainless, so I’m not too worried.
