Average White Band - a comp CD of my favorites.
“Discovered” them in 1973 when I put on their first album, “Show Your Hand”, and heard their version of the Crusaders’ “Put it Where You Want It”. A total bummer when Robbie McIntosh died.

Matt, I had a job senior year in college as head of security for special events. Ray Charles played a show at the Egyptian Theatre, and I stood side stage, maybe 10 feet from Ray and his piano for the show. An amazing evening, even if working.
Today's two part version of "Who Did It Better" has Avenged Sevenfold vs. Robert Rodriguez's Chingon with the classic Malagueña Salerosa.
The second part is an instrumental duel between Roy Clark and Jose Feliciano. This is based on a Cuban classical piece with a similar name.
