For as long as I worked in the retail record business, I can’t remember listening to him. Highly likely we didn’t have any demos but the guys I worked with were more Wes Montgomery, Joe Pass, Kenny Burrell, Jim Hall, etc. fans so that’s another factor. Nonetheless, enjoying GG’s style and his band.

Billy Joel - selections from his "Essentials" collection.

I'll never be accused of being a Billy Joel fan so not sure what impelled me to assemble and burn this disc. But, ran across it and I'm guessing I haven't played it in close to 10 years.

Edit: First two songs were “You May Be Right” and “It’s Still Rock and Roll to Me” so started out with a couple of rockers. Maybe I wasn’t crazy after all.

John Lennon - Live Peace in Toronto 1969

I will NEVER be accused of being a Yoko Ono fan, thus, I purposely skipped her "performance" and ripped only John's portion. Filled the rest of the disc with some of his studio stuff, mostly from "Rock 'n' Roll."
