Would one of you brothers describe the flavor profile a bit for the H. Upmann's? I've smoked the Allones, Partagas, Cohiba, Bolivar and ERDM. Like them all even though some claim they are the same blend I have found each rather unique. Which of the listed most closely matches the flavor profile of the H. Upmann? About ready to make another order and want to make sure I've had the full experience before settling in to 2 or 3 favorites.

I would say it would be similar to a Partagas or a Bolivar. Granted I don't have much under my belt in the CC realm, but I've loved each of the three that I've had (H. Upmann, Party, Boli)

The predominant flavor I get is nuts. Peanuts or almonds. Secondary to that I get leather, woodiness, coffee. I am a big fan of H Upmann.

On another forum(of mostly Habano smokers) I did a regular production shootout. Members submitted, without reading the thread or knowing the count, their 5 top regular production Habanos. Partagas ran away with it followed by H. Upmann and Bolivar. Most of my trusted, if I need to know I'd ask them, guys voted...except a few that aren't there such as Alohastyle and Art.

Top 5 were:
1. Partagas Serie D 4
2. H. Upmann Connie 1
3. Bolivar BF
4. Partagas 898(tie)
5. Cohiba Robusto(tie)

What I'm saying, try H. Upmann. I think they might be the ONE brand that I can think of that I've never had a cigar that I didn't like from them.

I've never not liked an H Upmann. Plenty I haven't tried, but I doubt I find one not for me.
