Sometimes. All depends on if humidity and other factors caused another fermentation cycle to set in.. Seems like a lot of the 17 production is in good ready to smoke shape for whatever reason.

H. Upmann PC from 2016.....good little cigar.

'07 Bolivar Royal Corona. My second dud cigar of the week. The draw was fine, but I was getting almost no smoke. Tried to mess with it, no dice. First dud out of the box between 23 smoked or gifted. Pitched it after a few minutes.

'05 H. Upmann Mag 46. And all was right with the world again....
