My description definitely didn't do it justice. It was probably the tastiest CC I've had yet. The flavor I was trying to describe was kind of a dry, sweet, floral/fruity aroma. Gave me the impression of age, but it was from a '14 box, so...
Short version: buy a box with confidence. Try first if you must, but you'll be sorry there isn't already a box on its way.

I have started smoking Partagas Lusitanas. They are the best cigar I have ever smoked. I picked up a nice Vanilla and caramel taste in the first third. In the second third I picked up a woodsy and earthy taste. I got these from Hong Kong from a dealer I have been dealing with for years. He is very trustworthy and honest. If you want his name and web site let me know via PM.
This probably isn't the right thread, but those are fakes. Bands are way off. The Cohiba is easy to spot because of the 'pierced c'

No floral notes for me. More of a chocolate, baking spice. It's a decent smoke to me but not something I'd invest in. If going #2s I'd much rather have an h upmann #2 personally

And nothing wrong with that dude. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't upset smoking this. It's the second one I've had. Just didn't blow me away personally like the hup2 I got from wicket did.
Monte2 doesn't do it for me either. Maybe it's the size or maybe every stick isn't for me. I enjoyed it but would choose a lot of others over smoking another one. Had to find out about the dusty flower thing. It still was a nub at the end
