Both cigars I had last night need some rest. Both were from mid-2017 with a noticeable tannic taste. They'll take a long nap before I revisit.

My first couple boxes were outstanding, despite the opinions of friends who just hate these. This box has much darker wrappers, and while they're improving, they're not nearly as good as the lighter wrapper ones IMO.

It was interesting - the first quarter was very light bodied, very mild. It did have a slight metallic note on the finish but once I got into the next quarter/third, it was damn good. Body and flavor picked up big time. It was very enjoyable.
