I had a Partagas Habana #1 that was gifted to me by a fine BOTL, fissure. It had a great start, fantastic flavor that really agreed with me. Unfortunately, methinks that it got a bit too humid so the draw was a bear all the way through. It was enough that I had to fight to keep the stogie lit, although the rich cedar flavor held up nicely even after several torchings.
I feel bad for disrespecting a gifted cigar like that, but am so glad that fissure hooked me up with it as I will most definitely be picking up some more. I'll be a lot more patient next time and give them the time that they deserve to find their sweet spot.

I had been planning on smoking the one Tat Black that I have on my birthday (Sept 28), but the weather just did not cooperate with my plans!
