My perk is this: I get to hang out here with some other great BOTL's. Once in a while I have to get a new mailbox and once in a while I cause another botl to have to do the same. Eric doesn't make money off of this site and works relentlessly to make sure we have a place to hang out. That's all the perk I need to keep making my donations.
The most important reason to be a donor is you help defray the costs of keeping this site up. Once you have been around here for a while you will discover the great knowledge and brotherhood here. Do you need more perks than that?
Very well said on both counts!

Easy guys, I had no idea what it was all about........hence me asking.

Wasn't trying to stir anything up with this thread.

Just asking questions as I am new here.

Don't read to far into my simple question.

I gotcha.

Thanks for all the info.

To be honest, I knew next to nothing about the BOTL cigars other than they existed.

I really had no intentions on joining just to obtain one.

The other members brought the subject up so curiosity got the best of me.

Thanks again for all the info.
Hey, no worries and I meant no offense. I just wanted to fill you in on a bit of etiquette regarding these sticks as it will help you avoid being flamed. Last year there were a handful of members that showed up right around BOTL stick time and started asking a buncha questions about acquiring them. That went over about as well as a loud smelly fart during a funeral, and some members got pissy about it. I figure a little knowledge goes a long way and since we were on the subject I wanted you to be properly equipped to know whats up is all. Welcome to the community and enjoy your stay!
Thanks for the heads up bro.

By the way, were you or are you a member of the glock talk forum?

LOL....that's my BOTL sense of humor kicking in! I wasn't trying to sound condensending at all Huskers. Welcome aboard and you'll soon learn I can be a little sarcastic son of a bitch at times, even if I don't intend to be. :-D
