Finally seen the new Nightmare on Elm Street film. It was okay, I thought the original was much better.

While I've caught different parts of it in the past. My friend loaned me his Band of Brothers series. I'm now on disc four.

I guess band of brother pacific addition will be coming out on DVD soon. Look forward to seeing that as well.

Larry thanks for letting me know. I don't follow movies and TV series to much. 90% of the TV I watch is sports.

But I really enjoy this series and look forward to watching the Pacific.

My wife and I went to see Skyline for my birthday tonight (Friday). What a COLOSSAL waste of time and $$!
Possibly the worst waste of a movie ticket purchase I've ever suffered. The ONLY redeeming quality was that the cheese factor was so high, that by the end we were getting a pretty good laugh from the "drama".

Please, for the love of all things holy, DO NOT see this film!

Robin Hood, words can not describe how bad this was. They completely butchered the story, I'm pretty much a purist and dislike most remakes but this one shouldn't even be categorized as one. They left out one of my favorite characters as well.

Saw Get Him to the Greek a few days ago. That had some funny moments.

Avatar....I'm so glad I waited to get the 3-Disc Extended Collector's Edition. I just finished watching the Collector's Extended Cut (16 additional minutes) and I loved the movie! :thumbsup:

Just went to see the "Hereafter" and it was a bust. Best scene was the opening tsunami and it went down hill from there....wait till it comes out on the tube, then think of something else to do!

Watched Red last weekend (Morgan Freeman, Bruce Willis, John Malkovich, Helen Mirren, Marie-Louise Parker). Entertaining action/drama/comedy flick ... I give it 8 out of 10.
