I'm big of good beers and I absolutely hate the mix of cigars and beer. I find it makes for two mediocre experiences, in the beer and the cigar. Usually one of the two or both are great on their own, together, I hate it. I know I am in the minority about this. Now a nice glass of Double Wood on the other hand, is magic with a stogie.

Milk? Gross.

I drink beer fairly often when smoking, of course nothing too corporate or weak. Eat while smoking? Never. Mix booze with soda? Double never, although I'm probably in the minority with this one. Honey sweetened bourbon? I can't even imagine drinking the stuff, but I guess lots of folks really dig it. I'm definitely with you on the Double Wood. Damn....wished you hadn't mentioned that.....now I have to go buy scotch.

I only drink miller lite if I go with a beer while smoking just for this reason.

The no for me is the 100+ heat....really hard to enjoy a smoke with that.

You know smoking on an empty stomach doesn't bother me. Last week I smoked a Tat Fausto a couple hours after I ate a granola bar. Not one of those special granola bars made for a meal, just a granola bar. Didn't have any problems. I think I started it around 11:00am? Maybe a little sooner?
