I gotta say, as much as I was protesting the trip to "The Waterboy", the food turned out to be fantastic.

Appetizer was olives. 5 different kinds of olives. They were good. First course was sweet breads. Sweet breads are secretly hypothalamus glands of cows, fried, then cooked in a wine reduction with a cherry sauce mixed with port wine.

It didn't suck. They call them sweet breads because if they called it "Brain parts", they wouldn't be able to sell them for $14 bucks for two servings.

I had the rabbit with pasta, and contrary to my expectations, it didn't suck. We drank alot of expensive wine, some brandy, some Scotch, and German desert wine. Dinner was followed by desert, and desert was bolstered by people at the next table that were tasting wine.

I really don't mind fancy food, I'd rather eat plain food, but sometimes fancy food really hits the damn spot.

Thymus and pancreas? Oh my Gods, that is even worse.

Still they taste good. Good thing everyone was pretty vague when I was asking questions about the first course.......
