She did not call the kids all week so i tracked her down on Saturday. So she say's she is going to take the kids to the new Twilight movie on Sunday. So we go to church and come home and wait from 10am to 3:30pm. Then my daughter said lets go out to dinner we got home at 6:20 she called at 6:11 did not leave a msg. Again she broke the kids hearts i just cant get a grip on whats going on.

Jim, similar situation. i became a single dad when my daugther was 5. she's 20 now. helluva ride! Wade is so correct: God will never give you more than you can handle. Rest in Him! You have to protect your kids. you don't have to search for her. maybe meeting her and the children for lunch?

Jim, we too are praying for your and your family during these rough times. I can empathize, as I too have been through it. Hang in there brother. I know it is tough but you and God are tougher and your children will love and respect you so much for taking care of them. Give them all the love you can and they will be ok. My oldest daughter saw how her mother was and went in the opposite direction. I get to watch her graduate with her master's next month. Please let any of us know how we can help.
Sorry to hear what you and your kids are going through Jim but I'm guessing you didn't expect her to change her ways that's why you filed for divorce to begin with. I hope the matter gets resolved as quickly as possible so you and the kids can move on with your lives. In the mean time you may want to hire a private eye so you can get some evidence on her lifestyle, etc to better help with your custody battle. Though from what you say it sounds like she's more than happy to give up the kids.
