If I'm smoking a young habano, it has to be Ramon Allones, Por Larranaga or H. Upmann. Every thing else needs time to rest, in my opinion. Por Larranaga is an odd one though, smoke them ROTT then after a few months they'll get sick and won't recover for a while, so be aware of that.

I can't generalize like that, Mack. I've had PLs, RAs and Upmanns that were nasty when young.... Bolis, Partagas, ERdMs, etc, that were wonderful ROTT....and vice versa for both sets. You just gotta smoke 'em and see. My two cents and worth every penny.
Bolivars are always solid right off the truck, but your mileage may vary.

I agree but you have to start somewhere when someone asks a question like this. I think everyone knows with handmade, natural products you'll always have variation. Also, ROTT is a rather poor way to determine age because I've had some come ROTT that were rolled 10 years ago. Even from sources that were 4 years old, without asking for anything aged.
