That could be a big factor. I ordered 4 oz thinking "whatever I'll be able to smoke it even if it's not that great" and maybe the quantity contributed to mine having a lot more moisture.
Had some Balkan Supreme on the way to work. Talk about waking you up.

Here's to hoping they come out with it in the one pound boxes like ODF. ODF, PHF DSF and this flake could be my desert island picks.
Yeah a box would be nice on the h&h Latakia flake, I actually smoked Germans last pm but think I like h&h more
