BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

That's part of pipe smoking, actually, I think it tastes better with each light, but I may be nuts. If you have time, youtube " the Frank method" for packing a pipe. It really help me a lot and smokin pipes have become much more enjoyable.,

Practice & patience gentle tamping as the bowl progresses can be helpful though I think we all find our own style to an extent
^^^^^^ this. Still trying to keep from going through a whole box of matches myself
Take this advice with a grain of salt but when I have a real wet tobacco (all the aro's my b&m has given me to try) I just a let a bowls worth dry for a bit on a paper towel and keeping it lit becomes much less of an issue.
Decided to revisit some old Toby in a Nording tonight. Side note: I asked Sean(Java), damn near a year ago, about his stem protectors. Finally made it to lowes and put his advice to work. Thanks man!
Had a couple bowls of Ennerdale Flake today inna cob of course.
First and second run at boswells northwoods
Tried it in a favorite cob .... Then in a sav 320, really shined in the wider bowl, had trouble packing it in the more slender cob, which has a little taper too it
I can see more of this in my future had a sweet note in there but still plenty of Latakia
