Pirate Kake in the cob this morning....I need that extra kick in the ass!
The well respected J. F. Germain & Son Co. is the producer (it is tinned by Cornell & Diehl though):..."who makes exotique?" no clue, but smokers' haven is who it's blended for....
On a scale of 1-10, how gooood is it?Burning some Butera's Royal Vintage Latakia No.1. Really good blend.
I love Latakia, so keep that in mind. A solid 8.5. I've read that their No. 2 blend is even better, but I haven't tried it yet.On a scale of 1-10, how gooood is it?Burning some Butera's Royal Vintage Latakia No.1. Really good blend.

They're both blended by McClelland, so you know the quality of tobacco & craftsmanship is top notch too. Definitely worth a try.NiceI love Latakia, so keep that in mind. A solid 8.5. I haven't tried Dark Kendal yet....I do have 10 tins of various McClelland blends on the way to me as we speak though.I will have to put it on my mile long wish list, McClelland has always had great blends to try. I was going to pick up some tins on my next go, but I am digging the Gawith, hoggarth&co Dark Kendal. Not much of a smell to it when packing, but the shag cut is great. About half way through the bowl it gave off a nice punch and flavor. I may have to pick up a pounder of it...and then some tins.....and some more tins....
Lol, "sigh". It's a never ending circle, once you buy that first batch of baccy you are on the long and windy road of endless tobacco purchases. I'm sure they have a name for what is wrong with us!I haven't tried Dark Kendal yet....I do have 10 tins of various McClelland blends on the way to me as we speak though.I will have to put it on my mile long wish list, McClelland has always had great blends to try. Totally agree. Every blend of theirs I've tried has been fantastic. These 10 new tins I've got coming tomorrow should give me a damn good start on exploring their entire line too.McClelland has easily become my favorite baccy maker. Almost all there blends are stellar in my book!
