A month long hiatus with some monster sickness that just wouldn't quit. Still not 100%, but finally back in the game. Went round and round trying to decide what fancy-ass briar I was going to jump back in with, then gave up and grabbed the cob-warden.
BOTL PToM Escudo Navy de Luxe in a Missouri Meerschaum/Forever Stem combo, with huge thanks of course to @Griz for my first handmade tamper. Starting my tamper game off strong!
Also my first night sitting outside at the new place enjoying a smoke - such a treat as the sun retreats for the evening and nocturnals come out to play. Love listening to the frogs and crickets, feeling the cool breeze dance around me on it's way to rustle through the surrounding trees.
All that's missing is a nice port...

Brown Sugar Flake in a cob on the drive in. Stuff really needs some dry time. I had this out all night, but could have used some more. It's delicious though.

I think it needs at least 2 hours drying time where I live. Any less and expect tons of relights.
Was doing some bushogging trying to beat the rain and dark. Had a bowl of Boswell Northwoods in a cob.
