Good to know, I'm starting to think I need a cheaper pipe to lug around. I'm worried I'm being too hard on my Tinsky.
Just got it and I'm already too scared to use it, lol
Modifying a Rossi Rubino or other pipe is a good way to acquire pipes you don't mind knocking around. The Rubino had a lot of fills hidden under its dark shellac. Once sanded, it reveals the grain but also leaves some imperfections in the wood. Thus, it will look good AND already have some dings on it. It's basically pre-damaged even before it falls out of your truck the first time.

Finally got to christen my Boswell's 10 minute pocket puffer that my girlfriend got me for Christmas. Smoked amazing and the baccy wasn't all too bad either...

Looks like more than 10 minutes to me. Which is a good thing. Ten minutes isn't enough time to enjoy a pipe.
