I don't know, but I just lit up a Serie D. No. 4. and wow... It is really a nice smoke. Big, and full flavored, but also nuanced, and pleasant.
what year? 08 seems to be getting some good feedback...

but not as much as the 898V...LOL. Just might have to rethink my decision on the PSD4....

I'm somewhat of a realist though.....fairly certain there'll be at least a 10 CT box of each in the order, and maybe even a 25 CT box depending on how this weekends football games play out. :jitb:

You can't go wrong with any of those... good luck with your fantasy team! :)

I technically still have a chance to win my league as I hold a 9 point lead going into tonight's game with my opponent having Michael Vick!?! :( Kinda sucks my RB Michael Turner had as many points as their kicker... 2! LOL

Payless and smoke more and wait on the ELs. The 898 would be good now. If you can put a box down the psd4 are a great choice. I'd rather smoke rass now than psd4's.

Well see, I give my opinion and you go and edit to CHANGE the options! Haha! I still like the D4 over the lonnies, but it's a size preference thing for me... Good luck, brother... let us know what you decide and how you like whatever you choose!
That's why I posted the thread Jim....for the good, more experienced CC folk, to show me the proverbial light...LOL!

I'm more of a Robusto/Toro smoker as well, and as my mind is "currently"....

I'm going w/ a 25 CT of the PSD4 (hopefully 08 or older), and a 10 CT box of the 898 V's (hopefully 09).

That is, until I start reading about how good the Monte Petit Edmundos are this year......or how good the RyJ Shorts from 09 have been smoking (being hypothetical here of course, but not altogether untrue...LOL)...

Wow no one says the 898, of the cigars you have listed this would be the easy pick. The 898 and Partagas shorts is Partagas. Since I believe you should keep to what you are asking about a box of psd4 and spend the rest on 898!
The 898 is for Partagas what Esplendidos is for Cohiba.

If you know where to still find them, run don't walk to your keyboard & get the German RA Belis. Smoking great now & will only improve. Party 898s are good, but I've been spoiled by cabs of 02 Lonsdales. Still some Party Coronas around if you know where to look.

Totally went off the map on this one....driven by the pursuit of 2008 tobacco, as opposed to 09, or 10...Only PSD4's I could find were fresh.

Ended up getting an 08 box of PSP2's instead, and not at all unhappy about it.

(and snuck in a 12 ct of Trini Robusto T's)......I have Ben, amongst a few others are to blame for that one...LOL.

Due to this thread however, the Parti 898V's are on my radar....and something I look forward to trying in 2011.

Thanks for all the input folks...much appreciated!
