My rule of thumb is I don't smoke a cigar without writing a review, I like it and people seem to enjoy them so I get more out of it that way

At most I keep a little notebook with the bands of the cigars I've smoked and the date I first tried them.

I picked up a small notebook that I have never used for my cigar reviews. Every time I smoke a cigar I write down date, the place, weather, if I have drink to pair it or even food, start time and end time, and obviously a review on the cigar as I smoke it and it's size and ring gouge, even write down my thoughts in that very moment.

Do you guys do the same? I just like to keep track right now of the cigars I like and dislike and maybe even see an evolution of my palate as I do 'em.
Hi sis how you doing. That is a wonderful idea because with today’s economy I can’t afford to pay attention. I would have to use loose leaf note books, because the little wire thinks in spiral note books I’m afraid of.

I tried, but I'm just too damn lazy to sit down and write in there what all I thought of a particular cigar. So now I just put a date on the back of the label and maybe a smiley or frown face and chuck it in a cigar box with my lighter and cutter. I have a pretty good memory so I can usually remember what I liked or didn't like about a particular cigar and if I forget...well I have an excuse to revisit it now don't I :headroll:.

I'm the same damn way lol! except instead of a smiley face I put A, B, C, or Nope...usully unless its a neet band, anything lower than A gets put on the other side of the box. I have a cigar box with a divider I glued in and this seems to work well.
